Welcome to Allen’s Reflections. Another addition to the Points of Power work
and perhaps a little extraneous at times to our core purpose,
 but still ever relevant to the New Energy path.

You’ll find most of the following discourses to be relatively short… 
hopefully luminous but definitely not voluminous.
Contrary to general perception – having authored a couple of books
and having a website and all that – I am not altogether mad about writing.
In fact I’m quite like Richard Bach in his introduction to ‘Illusions’…
“If I can turn my back on an idea, if I can avoid opening the door to it,
I won’t even reach for a pencil.”

But unfortunately, as much as I find composition to be slow torture,
and as much as I’d rather be out having fun at one of Sydney’s glorious beaches
or working out at my favourite gym or bashing out Gershwin or Bach on the keyboard,
or to be perfectly honest just relaxing and shamelessly doing nothing,
some thoughts just won’t go away it seems until they’re set in words.

So here we go…

New Energy Teachers & Teaching

There’s a gross misconception (and frustration) among many New Energy teachers that the only ‘real’ way for them to teach and effect change is through leading and running workshops and seminars and such. But that is most definitely not the case at all. New Energy teachers/leaders are also greatly needed in areas far beyond the spiritual workshop arena… in education, art, music, science, health, medicine, government, law, finance, business, technology… and absolutely everywhere else.

The world is absolutely ready for enlightened New Energy leadership in every area.

So if you’re a New Energy teacher and you really can’t see yourself conducting workshops or speaking from a rostrum – and you couldn’t think of anything worse anyway – then take heed:
You are still greatly needed… in whichever area of life your interests and passions happen to be. And even if there’s no strong interest in any particular domain, always remember that as the DIVINE HUMAN LIGHTHOUSE that you are, you’re always doing unbelievably awesome work anyway… even when it seems you’re doing what duality-based humans would call ‘nothing’.

Truth Vs Fact

The world of academia will probably always differ on the words ‘truth’ and ‘fact’.
However, the FACT IS that truth changes, and most appreciably as we grow in awareness.
Truth at one level of awareness or from one perspective is not truth at another level.

For example:
Two women walk through the new-age section of a bookstore.
At the end of the aisle one women remarks on the large number of angel books.
"What do you mean?" said the other woman. "There were no books at all on angels."
"But of course there were", replied the first women.

They start to argue.

Oh, by the way, one woman was considerably taller than the other.

So then, truth is not the same for everyone.
And of course nowhere is this more evident that in the world’s religions.
How many zealots have died defending their ‘truth’?
And how many innocents have been massacred simply because they had a different ‘truth’?

So truth is changeable… but facts on the other hand aren’t.
It was once a truth that the earth was flat, but it was never a FACT.
 
So now that we’ve got the facts cleared up,
here’s a handful of the spiritual kind… 

There is NO old energy tool, book, technique, spiritual practice or guru
 that can help or serve you in any way for the journey into the New Energy.

 The way things worked in the old energy is NOT the way they work in the New.

 The spirituality and metaphysics of yesterday is NOT the spirituality and metaphysics of today.
Nor will today’s be tomorrow.

 You will never get out of duality’s illusion and into the New Energy
with meditation, prayer, techniques or ritual.
But you will with Pure Intent.

 The spiritual awakening/ascension journey is an ALONE journey.
You cannot take a loved one with you.
You cannot choose the ascension journey for another. 
 
 Religions have nothing to do with God and everything to do with men’s control.

 You cannot be responsible for another’s happiness.

 Healers do not heal.
Intent, Understanding and Responsibility heal.
The healee creates and only the healee can discreate.

 Change always leads to something greater.

 There is no such thing as sin.

 God is You

What will:

The Impersonal Life

RISE UP! O aspirant for union with Me. Accept now your Divine Heritage! Open wide your Soul, your mind, your body, and breathe in My Breath of Life!

Why, in your seeking, be satisfied with anything short of the Highest? Why seek in human or spirit teacher, guide, master or angel, for the necessarily limited manifestation of My Perfection, when you can come directly to Me, God within you, the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, the Inspiring Idea back of ALL manifestations?

You, My beloved, who have consecrated your self to Me, and are bending every effort to find union with Me, but instead have found apparently that every prop of the World’s support has been withdrawn or is being withdrawn, and that you are without money and without friends and know not where to turn for human help;

Learn, My Blessed One, that you are very, very close now, and that if you will only continue to abide in Me, letting My Word abide in and guide you, resting and trusting absolutely in My Promise, I will very soon bring to you a Joy, a Fulfillment, a Peace that human words and human minds can not possibly picture.

Then, when you are sufficiently conscious of My power and My love, will I begin to speak through you words of Wisdom and Truth, which will confound the learned of the world, even the Doctors of the Law.

And then, then you will KNOW, I AM, GOD. You are a part of Me, yet You are I, My Self. We are One, and always have been. I AM You, the Real Self of you, All that you REALLY are. That which you think you are, you are not. That is only an illusion, a shadow of the REAL You, which is I, your Immortal, Divine Self.

The best and surest way you may know Me is when Selfless Love fills your heart, and there is a strong, compelling urge to help others, to heal their ills, to relieve their suffering, to bring them happiness, to point out… The True Way.

Learn to speak their language

Something all of us New Energy teachers and facilitators need to remember is… just how much we now ‘know’. And to keep in mind that those beginning the ascension journey can’t absorb all this information at once.

We need to ascertain exactly where people are along the awakening/ascension path and always teach from that place of understanding and awareness. We need to always speak ‘their’ language.
Here’s a little story to illustrate…

A woman was explaining her theory of putting her children to bed: “I never tell bedtime stories that begin with “Once upon a time,” she said. “If I really want to put them to sleep, I start off with, ‘Now, when I was your age...” It’s nice to understand people so well that we know just what to say! Here is a mother who could speak her children’s language.

The story is told of the most famous elephant in the World – a huge, beautiful and gentle beast named Bozo. Children extended open palms filled with peanuts for the Indian elephant, who gently plucked them from little hands and seemed to smile as he ate his treats.

But one day, for some inexplicable reason, Bozo changed. He almost stampeded the man who cleaned his cage. He charged children at the circus and became incorrigible. His owner knew he would have to destroy the once-gentle giant.

In order to raise money for a new elephant, the circus owner held a cruel exhibition. He sold tickets
to witness Bozo’s execution and, on the appointed day, his arena was packed. Three men with high powered rifles rose to take aim at the great beast’s head.

Just before the signal was given to shoot, a little, stubby man in a brown hat stepped out of the crowd and said to the elephant’s owner, “Sir, this is not necessary. Bozo is not a bad elephant.”

“But he is,” the man argued. “We must kill him before he kills someone.”

“Sir, give me two minutes alone in his cage,” the visitor pleaded, “and I’ll prove to you that you are
wrong. He is not a bad elephant.”

After a few more moments of discussion (and a written statement absolving the circus of liability if the man should be injured), the keeper finally agreed to allow the man inside Bozo’s cage. The man removed his brown derby and entered the cage of the bellowing and trumpeting beast.

Before the elephant could charge, the man began to speak to him. Bozo seemed to immediately quiet down upon hearing the man’s words. Nearby spectators could also hear the man, but they could not understand him, for he spoke a foreign language. Soon the great animal began to tremble, whine and throw his head about. Then the stranger walked up to Bozo and stroked his trunk. The great elephant tenderly wrapped his trunk around the man, lifted him up and carried him around his cage before carefully depositing him back at the door. Everyone applauded.

As the cage door closed behind him, the man said to Bozo’s keeper, “You see, he is a good elephant. His problem is that he is an Indian elephant and understands one language.” He explained that Bozo was frustrated and confused. He needed someone who could speak his language. “I suggest, sir, that you find someone in London to come in occasionally and talk to the elephant. If you do, you’ll have no problems.”

The man picked up his brown derby and walked away. It was at that time that the circus owner looked carefully at the signature on the paper he held in his hand – the note absolving the circus of responsibility in the case he was injured inside the elephant’s cage. The statement was signed by Rudyard Kipling.

People also become frustrated and angry when they are not understood. But great relationships are
formed by parents who learn to speak their children’s language; lovers who speak each other’s language; professionals who speak the language of their clients. When people understand that YOU understand, that you empathize with their heartaches and understand their problems, then you are speaking their language! It is the beginning of true communication.

Instant Manifestation
A means to an end or an end in itself?

So many on the spiritual path feel they need to be able to instantly manifest something, anything, in order to validate their spiritual standing and qualify their spiritual arrival. And while being able to instantly create something from nothing would certainly do just that, as well as being quite a buzz to say the least, is it an end in itself – the spiritual seeker’s Holy Grail? Or could it be but a means to a grander purpose?

And just what and where IS this power to create something from nothing anyway?

From the spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy:
“There was once a Master who had occult power which attracted many disciples, but God told him to stop using it. Then he started telling his disciples that he had lost all his power, so that the miracle-seekers would leave him. Then he began a real spiritual life. The real miracle is to remain in the highest consciousness. It’s not the miracles that Christ performed that compel the world to adore him, but the infinite Compassion and Love which he eternally embodies.” 

And similar words have been said by the controversial Avatar Sai Baba (whose instant manifestations of just about everything from fruits out of season and delicious hot food, at times in huge quantities, to gold deity statues and items of jewelry) have been witnessed and authenticated for decades by thousands of people including scientists, the most hardened skeptics and world-renowned magicians. Even Kryon has said that we’d be amazed if we could see what Sai Baba and a few other avatars can do.

Dr. Frank Baronowski, a Professor at Arizona State University is considered a world expert on the human aura. He has given over 6000 lectures all over the world, many with royalty present, and has studied the auras of tens of thousands of people including that of Pope John Paul II. He not only photographs auras but is also able to see auras directly with his eyes. He has met over a hundred holy men in India and has no hesitation in saying that their auras or energy fields show nothing but a strong interest in their own personal egos and institutions, and are only around 25 to 50 cm broad, about average. 

According to Dr. Baronowski, a pink aura always typifies self-less love and is rarely seen. On a visit to India in 1979 he described Sai Baba’s aura as completely unique and totally overwhelming… not only was it the colour of self-less love, but it actually reached out to over forty feet in all directions, even extending beyond the building.. and even ‘into’ whoever he was talking to or happened to touch. The Dr described Sai Baba’s energy as limitless, as ‘love walking on two feet’.

From Sai Baba:
"Those who profess to have understood me, the scholars, the yogis, the pundits, the jnanis; they have not desired to contact the source of all power that is available. All of them are aware only of the least important; the casual external manifestations of an infinitesimal part of that power, namely, the miracles! But I request you not to attach importance to these. Do not exaggerate their significance, the most significant and important power is, let Me tell you, my Prema (Love)… I may turn the sky into earth or earth into sky but that is not the sign of Divine Might. It is the Prema, effective, universal, ever-present, that is the unique sign.” 

So then, before we begin our instant miracle workouts, our ‘something from nothing’ practice, perhaps we should take the advice of Jonathan Livingston Seagull’s wise old teacher and ‘keep working on love.’ Then maybe, just maybe, when we’ve learned to love enough we’d have nothing else but miracles. And then, as with all the great Avatars, miracles would be nothing more than our calling card, our attention-getter for the ultimate testimony… “God is love, and The Kingdom of God is Within You.”

Questions Only

There are quite a few questions and answers on the Points of Power site,
and also quite a lot of answers only (material) without questions.
So to balance things up a little, here are some questions only.
Some are easy while others may need some quiet reflection... especially the last one.

Many great teachers have said that God is all-knowing and has
all the answers. We only need to ask… ‘God, what is it that I need to know right now?’
Other great teachers have said that God doesn’t have all the answers at all;
that God learns as we learn, and only knows what we know.

Who is right?

Is there any delight in owning anything unshared?

Which climate is more conductive to enlightenment –
close to the equator or towards the poles?

And why?

Some of the simplest creatures in nature can regenerate lost limbs
but the most advanced entities on the planet (humans) can’t.

Is there a reason?

St. Francis of Assisi said that what we are looking for is what is looking.

What did he mean?

Why are we humans here on earth?



How do you know that you know?



Where did the New Energy actually come from?



Why do people get emotional when they see 11:11?

What’s the difference between hope and trust?

Do you believe what you experience
or do you experience what you believe?

What is the difference between true faith and blind faith?

Why is it that the younger your soul age is
(younger in wisdom and experience, not in time)
the more likely you are to win the lotto?

And last, a little question we need to constantly ask ourselves -
a reality-check on our REAL spiritual progress into the New Energy...

"Would I be only too happy to live in a world where every person
was as honest as I am and where everyone's word was as good as mine?"

20/20 Vision - Backwards
Allen's ascension journey into the New Energy - in hindsight

Knowing what I know now, if I had to do it all again
(hypothetically speaking, thank God)...

I would... know that I CAN NOT have a spiritual awakening on my terms.
'I can't have my cake and eat it' as the saying goes. I would know that things will change
for me in many ways, including the loss of things and people near and dear,
and that I must be accepting of this regardless of how uncomfortable, disconcerting
and confusing (and often frightening) these changes may appear to be. 

I would... know that contrary to everything I've been told about the spiritual enlightenment path -
all the heavenly peace and bliss etc, I was in for a rude awakening - of the highest order.

I would... never worry about a thing. All worry ever did for me was to reek havoc
on my physical body and throw it into imbalance and dis-ease... and never changed one other thing.

I would... never supplicate. As tempting as it can be in times of crisis, I would know that
begging and pleading to a supposed higher power supposedly someplace in the sky
does absolutely nothing... and only serves to remove me from the REAL God within.

I would... know that my needs would ALWAYS be met... WITHOUT FAIL.
Often at the last minute, and often from sources that I didn't expect, but WITHOUT FAIL.

I would... accept whatever was happening no matter what,
knowing that it's ALL in Perfect Divine Order, even the times of hellish chaos.

I would... never look to ANY old energy duality-based book, teacher or teaching - 
 the spiritual kind or the personal power/human potential kind,
for help, answers, comfort, insight, justification or validation.
I would know that there is NO old energy tool, practice, course, program,
tradition, technique, discipline or 'secret' that works for the transition into the New.

I would... remember that if I was ever feeling great sadness, or worse, felt like I was dying,
it's because I WAS dying... dying to my old life and my old duality self.
And I would also remember... "The bigger the death, the bigger the rebirth." 

I would... remember that I really CAN let go and trust; that the Divinity within CAN be trusted
and ALWAYS has my best and highest interests at heart.

I would... never fear the New and unknown as I know it's a lot safer and far more REAL
than the old and known.

I would... remember that for every one of my so-called problems along the way,
no matter how seemingly difficult, ominous or 'impossible', there IS a divine solution
that is grander and more profound than anything I could have imagined.

I would... never hold on tenaciously to people or things - including money.
I would gracefully let everything go that wanted to go and that needs to go
knowing that the New is not created from a mountain of clutter or built upon the past,
but is created from a void, from no-thing.
I would also remember that all this loss is ultimately an illusion and is always 'perfect to the purpose'
as it's ALWAYS leading to something greater - something greater than I ever thought existed.

Sai Baba - once and for all!

[From Allen: We've received quite a bit of comment on my Sai Baba inclusion in the Instant Manifestation article above. Many have said that they don't quite know what to make of Sai Baba and are both suspicious and perplexed as to why he allows the masses to worship him when he teaches that each person is God. Many of the Points of Power visitors are also passionate Kryon readers, so I trust that the following Q&A from the Kryon website helps to clear up this apparent contradiction. As with all the Kryon material on our site, it is used with permission from Lee Carroll].

QUESTION: Dear Kryon: My question is regarding Sai Baba. I, myself, have gone to visit this man in India and I see masses of people crowding to him and worshipping him like a God. I have no doubt of his enlightened discourses and many of these teachings I agree with since he says that each person is God.

However, what I can't understand or relate to is the fact that he allows people to worship him in such a manner. Masses of people kneel before him and he raises his hands to offer penance to whomever he chooses. He allows pictures of his feet to be taken, which he knows will be displayed in people's homes for them to worship. His devotees believe in self-empowerment and the God-within but believe that Sai Baba is God incarnate - surely a contradiction! I have heard of people regurgitating powder in the name of Sai Baba and have heard many talk of honey dripping from his pictures. But what is the point of this? How is he teaching people to become their own God if he is showing them miracles that make them feel inferior before him?

Who is this man? Is he truly an Ascended Master as he claims to be? If so, then surely his way of teaching is of the old energy, where we look externally for someone more powerful than us. Thanks!

ANSWER: Sai Baba is a current Master (not Ascended) walking the Earth. He is real and yet most westerners do not even know about him. His DNA is activated to a point that he teeters on actually leaving the Planet. He can manifest “something from nothing” and has the gift of healing.

Do not judge what all this looks like, for in your culture (America) the “worship” attitude looks trite and out of place. However, consider the culture he is in (India), and the consciousness of the people around him. He does not wish to be worshipped and his message is not one where he demands it. No masters wish this. But the culture of India is far different than yours, and the people there are comfortable with this mode of learning.

Disengage yourself from your perception of what it looks like and be wise in the differences between the ways Humans must find God. For them, this is the way they choose to listen and learn. For you, it seems inappropriate. Know that the western world could learn a great deal from Sai Baba, but will wait until after he is gone to validate him. Then he will begin to be a symbol of enlightenment for many, like so many masters who have to pass on to have their real work known.

Touché, especially to the last few words... like so many masters who have to pass on to have their real work known. 

Worry - the bane of all humans
and the helpmate of none

Spiritual Ego -
duality at its ignorant and arrogant best

Spiritual ego is not the same as self-worth, self-esteem, self-respect or self-love. Spiritual ego is bigheadedness or excessive pride and self-importance in one’s spiritual attainment... or more accurately and somewhat ironically, in one's fancied, imagined or supposed spiritual attainment.

It’s not uncommon amongst fiery New Age disciples (the chakra and chopra set) who have completed a few duality-based courses or workshops and have suddenly been elevated to the title of ‘master’. It’s also very apparent in anyone who insists on calling themselves a guru or a spiritual master (eastern or western) and it's also very apparent, and ever so insidiously, in all religious institutions. Indeed, who else but somebody completely spellbound in their spiritual ego and believing in their own spiritual supremacy would be pompous and arrogant enough, not to mention ignorant enough, to assume the office of mediator between God and humans by hearing confessions and giving absolution in dark curtained closets?  

Spiritual ego is a totally duality-based affair and is not something that's a part of any True New Energy teacher. The forerunners of the New Energy Journey and the True Awakening Process have had such a shockingly difficult time of it that every last little bit of ego, spiritual or otherwise, has been well and truly knocked out of them. 

True self-worth - the most valuable of valuables and our true ticket to freedom, comes with the experiential understanding and appreciation that one is God, and that All is One. Spiritual ego on the other hand happens at a much lower level of awareness, where one still believes there are two - God and human in the case of portentous priests, and greater and lesser in the case of self-aggrandizing gurus.

"From the first moment I looked into that horror on Sept. 11,
I recognized an old companion...
I recognized religion," Monsignor Lorenzo Alabacete said.
"I knew that force could take you to do great things.
But I also knew there was no greater or more
destructive force on Earth than religious passion."

Indeed. But of course it wasn't the Christian church that committed that dreadful atrocity.
It was, you know, that other eastern fundamentalist mob - all those 'extremists'.
Good Christians would never do anything like that! They would never hurt a soul.

Oh?

Then why did the late Pope John Paul ll openly apologize to the world
for all the past sins (crimes) of the Catholic Church...
for all the unspeakable atrocities committed against men, women and children over centuries,
for the torture and murder in the most heinous and cruelest possible manner
of all those who, in the church's psychotic 'extreme' paranoia, posed a threat to its authority?

The bloody religious wars, the appalling abuse of children, the subordination of women,
the hypocrisy and hidden agendas, the indoctrination and control, the judgment and fear,
the guilt and shame, the cover-ups, the pseudo humility and benighted righteousness,
the disunion of humanity...

Imagine No Religion

Imagine the day when all true believers come to realize that they've been taught,
quite artfully, what both they and God, are not. 

Success & Failure
The classic old energy catalysts for self-importance and self-reproach

 Neither exists in the New Energy because in the higher and vaster 
realms of Oneness there are no polarities, or opposites.
No right-wrong, good-bad, love-hate, heaven-hell, oppressor-victim,
win-lose, greater-lesser, young-old, light-dark... or success-failure.

No duality-based illusions!

However, if we're still hell-bent on defining these two old energy imposters,
then here are two of the best... interestingly, from sources that couldn't be further apart.

Success: A person is a success if they get up in the morning
and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.

so you can get on with the real work you came here for!

 Don't think like a Human

 Right now I'm okay*...
 but it's not now that I'm worried about.
It's tomorrow, next week, next year... the whole future.

How am I supposed to survive, buy food, pay the rent, pay the bills?
And I see other problems looming as well... health perhaps, relationships, or maybe no relationship.
Who knows. 

To be honest, I feel like I just want to die... I really can't see any other way out.
 Things can't change that quickly, it's just impossible.

Is it?

Henry and The Missing Bridge
Based on the Kryon parable

Henry is happily speeding down a winding mountain road... down to where there's a bridge across to the other side of the deep valley. 

Henry rounds a sweeping bend where he gets a full view for the first time of the valley below... to immediately see that the bridge across the chasm is missing. 

What would a human think at this time? "The bridge is not there; therefore I will surely die. The bridge cannot possibly be rebuilt quickly enough. I must turn back."

Henry was about to stop when he heard a voice, a voice powerful yet calm and unlike any he had heard before... "Continue on Henry. Don't think like a human. Things are not always as they seem Henry. You will be taken care of Henry." 

So Henry continued on, although quite a bit slower than before. "Can't you go any faster Henri," the voice said. "Things are not always as they seem Henri. You will be taken care of Henri."

Henry speeded up. Although very apprehensive and more than a little fearful, there was something unusual about this voice, something that he trusted.

Henri was now rounding the last bend on the road that leads onto the bridge... the bridge that he knew was no longer there. His fear increased... it was the last moment! It took everything he had in him not to stop right there... yet the voice kept saying "Henry, continue on, continue on. Don't think like a human." Henri gripped the wheel, held his breath... and closed his eyes.

Moments later he heard the sound of men's voices calling out. Henri opened his eyes to see several workman on the side of the road waving him on to an area he had never observed before. And standing in full glory there was a beautiful new bridge! It was a bridge that was so big and so awesome that Henry realized that it had been under construction long before he came along, long before he needed it. It was being built completely out of sight, and only presented itself NOW... when he needed it. Henri crossed the bridge in joy, realizing the power of his partnership with Spirit.

If you understand this parable, you will understand what Spirit has for you in this New Energy. Time with Spirit is not linear. The setups are in place now for what you will co-create and manifest tomorrow... for healings, for abundance which is coming your way, for partnerships which are around the corner. The setups have started now for creations among you that have not even been conceived by you yet. There are solutions already created to problems that you don't even have yet... solutions that are far grander than anything you could ever imagine.

Don't think like a human. 

Things are not always as they seem.

Continue on, continue on... You WILL be cared for.
Make no adjustments along the way out of fear.

Never worry and never panic.
Like Henry's solution to the missing bridge,
the solution to every problem, challenge, test or trial that you will ever have
already exists in the NOW... when you need it.
